Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available from every page by way of a menu link.
Collection of Personal Information
The Moons Coffee & Tea website collects only the information necessary to (hopefully) provide an enjoyable web experience for our visitors. For instance, in order to register on the site you are asked to provide your name and a valid email address. In any case, Moons will never provide this information to a third party. However, we might send you an occasional email such as a “welcome” email or if you have password problems an email containing a link to allow you to log in and reset your password. we may even send an occasional email to announce a new product, coffee or tea blend or a really great price on one of our products. If we do that, we will certainly make it possible to opt out if you don’t want to receive anything from us.
Like most standard Web sites, the Moons Coffee & Tea site uses log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, referring/exit pages, platform type, etc. We use this info to analyze trends such as how many visitors are accessing which features. This data should help us figure out in general, what features visitors like and what things you don’t really care about. With this, we hope to be able to make intelligent decisions about what content to spend our time on and what stuff to ditch or make less prominent. Besides, it’s reassuring to see that there really are people visiting here. The main thing is that the information such as IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.
Links to third party Websites
You will find a few links to external sites. We have gone to every site you find a link for within the Moons site at least once and usually multiple times. That being said, we have no control over what things go on at other sites or what information they may collect or how they use it. Basically, we’re saying that you’re safe here but once you leave our site, you’re on your own. This applies also to any advertiser links we may have in the future. Just be careful and use common sense. Don’t give out any personal information that would be a serious bummer to have known publicly unless you trust the site.
